  2. MESSAGE PAD UNINSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

  5. 1.  Delete all files in the main application directory, 
  6.     e.g. c:\msgpad.
  7.  
  8.     MSGPAD.EXE      Main application file
  9.  
  10.     MSGPAD.HLP      Message Pad help file
  11.  
  12.     MANUAL.WRI      Message Pad Manual
  13.  
  14.     README.TXT      Installation instructions
  15.  
  16.     ORDER.WRI      Registration form
  17.  
  18. 2.  Using Notepad or another text editor, open MSMAIL.INI, which 
  19.     can normally be found in your Windows directory.  Delete the 
  20.     line that begins:

  22.         "IPM.OISMessagePad.PhoneMsg=3.0;Mail;..."
  23.  
  24. 3.  Message Pad also installed the following files to your
  25.     Windows\System directory:
  26.  
  27.     VBRUN300.DLL       Runtime module for Visual Basic 3.0 
  28.             applications
  29.     
  30.     MHGLBX.VBX      Custom control used to display pictures in 
  31.                   the pending messages list box.
  32.  
  33.     MHRUN400.DLL      Support file for MHGLBX.VBX
  34.  
  35.     APPEXEC.DLL    Library used by Mail to communicate with
  36.             Message Pad.  This may be used by other 
  37.             programs that integrate with Mail.
  38.  
  39.     If you are absolutely certain that you have no other 
  40.     applications that require these files, they may be deleted 
  41.     from your Windows\System directory.  If you think that no other 
  42.     applications use these files but are not absolutely certain, then 
  43.     try renaming the files (e.g. VBRUN300.OLD, MHGLBX.OLD).  If, 
  44.     after several weeks, all your applications are still running 
  45.     fine, go ahead and delete these files.
